EGITTO-SUDAN, INTESA SU COSTRUZIONE AUTOSTRADA DI 600 KM(AGIAFRO) - Il Cairo, 11 gen. - Egitto e Sudan hanno firmato un accordo che prevede la costruzione di un'autostrada di 600 chilometri che colleghera' i due Paesi e il cui costo previsto e' di 500 milioni di dollari. Lo ha annunciato una fonte qualificata, precisando che l'accordo e' stato firmato da Mohammed Safwan, direttore generale dell'impresa di costruzioni egiziana che realizzera' l'opera, e da Abdul Aziz al-Othman, direttore di una societa' di investimento sudanese. La fonte ha aggiunto che l'autostrada colleghera' Aswan (Egitto) e Dongola (Sudan) e la sua costruzione creera' nei rispettivi territori complessivamente due milioni di posti di lavoro. L'arteria attraversera' i Paesi aderenti al Mercato comune dell'Africa orientale e meridionale (COMESA) e servira' a realizzare un asse viario panafricano nord-sud, dalla citta' egiziana di Alessandria alla sudafricana Citta' del Capo.
